Overview

Prompter is a teleprompter and recording app. This policy explains what data the app collects, where it goes, and how it is used. The short version: your scripts and recordings stay on your device and in your personal iCloud account. We do not collect personal information, run analytics, or serve advertising.

Data We Collect and How It Is Used

Scripts

Your scripts are stored in iCloud Key-Value Storage, tied to your personal iCloud account. This means:

• Scripts sync automatically across your own devices.
• Scripts are restored if you reinstall the app on the same Apple ID.
• Apple manages and secures the iCloud infrastructure. Apple's iCloud Privacy Policy applies.
• We never access your scripts.

Recordings

Videos recorded in the app are saved directly to your device's local storage (Photos or Files). Recordings are never uploaded to our servers.

Speech Recognition (Voice Sync & Voice Commands)

When you use Voice Sync or Voice Commands, audio is processed by Apple's on-device and cloud-based Speech Recognition framework (SFSpeechRecognizer). Audio may be sent to Apple's servers for processing. Apple's Privacy Policy governs this data. You can disable these features at any time in Settings.

Camera and Microphone

The app accesses your camera and microphone only during active teleprompter or recording sessions. This data is not transmitted anywhere.
